Beer, Simon’s Big Sausage, Beer and the Police … but there’s lots of other things that go on at the Cavalcade!!
YOU REALLY CAN GET STEAMING AT THE CAVALCADE!
From humble beginnings ~ a procession of vehicles parading around Rushden High Street ~ the RUSHDEN CAVALCADE has grown into one of the biggest transport rallies and country shows in the area, with over 25,000 people attending the annual 3-day event.
There’s lots to see and do, including traction engines, vintage vehicles, fun-fair rides, trade stands, and this year ~ as if there wasn’t enough happening on the ground ~ the Cavalcade takes to the air with flypasts over the 3 days by a Lancaster, Spitfire, Hurricane and Dakota.
Pssttt: They also have a rather good beer tent (so someone has told Station 109) …
