SHERINGHAM 1940s WEEKEND 2014
Twinwood has been and gone for another year as has the Goodwood Revival, so next in line on 20th and 21st September 2014 is Sheringham 1940s’ weekend. This is, in fact, the North Norfolk Railway 1940s’ Weekend, but as a fair proportion of the town joins in, most of those who hot foot it down to the coast each year simply refer to it as The Sheringham 1940s’ Weekend. Each year, the popularity of this event increases. Sneaky people rebook all the local hotels and B&Bs on a rolling basis, thus making it more and more difficult to find accommodation in the local vicinity. Station 109 are not in the least bothered by this, as Norwich is not far away, with its history, culture and rather good ale houses! All in all, experience a very British weekend!
