1950s Chrome-Plated Vintage Ice Tweezers
Back in the 5os the cocktail bar was a ‘must have’, and this little item ~ a chrome-plated pair of ice tongues, or ‘Ice Tweezers’ as it says on the box ~ would have added a nice touch to any household drinks facility.
The tongues have three claw-like arms with serrated inner edges for a better grip. They are spring-loaded and activated by pressing the plunger at the top.
The tweezers are cased in their original green box, which as well as an image of the contents, bears the words ‘PINZA per GHIACCIO’ ~ guess what that means!
The maker’s name ‘Heppi’ also appears on the box.
The ice implements are engraved ‘Italy’
Box is damaged; Tweezers work perfectly
